In addition to buying and selling pallets, we also provide the critical step of heat treating and certifying our pallets to meet International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures 15 (ISMP 15).

ISPM 15 provides treatments and protocol that reduce the risk of introduction and spread of invasive species from shipping activities. Our on-site heat treating facilities sterilize wood from pests, fungus and other potential invasive species.

During this process, the wooden crates and wood shipping pallets are heated until they reach a minimum core temperature of 60 °C (140 °F) for at least 30 minutes. After being heat treated, we apply the IPPC “Wheat Stamp crates” which includes country of origin (xx), facility code (000), and type of treatment (YY).
